Status Update

It's been about a month since I implemented the new ZFS disk configuration, and it is still running quite well. There have been no new errors or issues whatsoever.

As a matter of fact, our Applications Development team apparently had to recode parts of their app to make it run slower. It seems that the jobs were finishing too quickly, and were throwing off the nightly batch process timings on the mainframe.

Oh, and as far as the early system crash is concerned, I think that it may have had something to do with Netbackup. In the dump analysis, I found that there was only one user job running, and backups were also active. I loaded the latest maintenance pack for Netbackup, and we haven't had any problems since. We've tried to recreate the issue since, but cannot- Which is great!
